Teams

Prospective teams are taking shape in the build-up to the 2011-12 race.

Newly-appointed Commercial Director of the Volvo Ocean Race, Greg Miall said, “We are ahead of the number of teams at the same stage of the last race, which is fantastic.”

“There are six teams that have already confirmed to the Volvo Ocean Race that they will definitely be on the start line,” he said. “Some of these are still confidential but you can see the publicly declared teams below.”

There are currently over 20 more syndicates that are actively working on entering a team.
